Couple found dead in Lake Bonavista home

Two people are dead and police are investigating after the couple was discovered in their Lake Bonavista home Saturday.

Crews were called to a home on Lake Erie Road S.E.after family members found one person dead and another in distress.

Emergency crews tried to treat the second victim but that person also died.

The medical examiner has been called in and will examine the bodies.

Initial reports suggested carbon monoxide mighthave been a factor but officials say the could not get a reading of levels when they entered the home.
