Family of Calgary stabbing victim wants justice

The family of a woman killed two years ago in Calgary isfrustrated with Canada's justice system.

Jacqueline Clara Crazybull, 44, died after being stabbed at the corner of 17th Avenue and 11th Street S.W. in July 2007. Four other people were also wounded during what police said was a random, one-hour series of stabbings throughout the city.

Calgary police say they have three suspects, but not enough evidence to charge them.

On Saturday, Crazybull's family held a walk in her honour, in hopes of persuading those with information to come forward.

Sandra Crazybull-O'Hara said she is still angry her sister was killed: "She was stolen from our family and our family suffers tremendously. We weren't ready to bury our sister."

Crazybull-O'Hara said she is outraged the people responsible are still walking the streets.

"I am very angry with the way the Canadian justice system is set up because, you know, nobody's been charged because of the way the justice system is," she said. "I'm really tired right now. I'm still young [and] I don't deserve to be as tired as I am."
