Fire death a homicide: police

Police say a man found in the basement of a burning house was killed and that the fire was deliberately set.

Fire crews were called to a Fonda Close SE home Saturday morning about 11 a.m. They found Clifford Mills Trusty, 62, in a basement suite. Police say an autopsy told them with how Trusty died, but they are not releasing the cause because of the investigation.

They will say that the death is classified as a homicide, and that homicide and arson detectives are investigating.
