Woman suffers serious injuries in early morning assault in Forest Lawn: police

City police are investigating an assault on a woman found seriously injured in the Forest Lawn neighbourhood early Sunday.

Officers were called to the address in the Forest Lawn-Forest Heightsat about 4:45 a.m., police said Sunday.

Police found the woman suffering from serious injuries in the 500 block of 44 Street S.E.

An investigation is ongoing, police said.
