Skyview Ranch hit and run under investigation

Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit a 13-year-old girl in Skyview Ranch in northeast Calgary this morning.

The girl who was not seriously hurt told a school bus driver that about the incident, which happened at about 8 a.m.

Police and EMS crews arrived to investigate, finding debris on the road at Skyview Way and Skyview Springs Garden.

The driver fled the scene, but investigators know the licence plate number of the offending vehicle, police say.
