3 injured during home invasion in northwest Calgary

Calgary police have launched an investigation after several people were injured in a home invasion in the citys northwest neighborhood of Banff Trail on Wednesday night.

Calgary police are investingafter several people were injured in a home invasion in the city's northwest neighborhood of Banff Trail on Wednesday night.

Calgary police saidthey received a call around 9 p.m. with reports of a violent incidentin the 2800 block of Capitol Hill Crescent N.W.

One man was stabbed and two othersseriously injured after unknown intruders broke into the house.

All victims were taken by EMS to the Foothills Hospital, where they were treated for their injuries.

Police officials saidit's not clear whether this was a targeted attack or random.
