Home renovator charged with voyeurism after hidden camera found in bathroom

Police have charged a Calgary contractor with voyeurism after a client discovered a camera had been concealed in a bathroom electrical socket during a home renovation.

A 43-year-old man who operates a renovation company called The Good Shepherd Group is charged with two counts of voyeurism and two counts of failing to comply with a court order.

Investigators believe the device was installed sometime between August and November of this year.

Anyone who has used the mans company and has concerns is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

The citys licensing inspector is also involved in the investigation because the accused man does not hold a valid business license, police said.
