Homestretch Brunch Club: Quiche and Parmentier at Parc Caf

This summer the Homestretch is doing brunch. Mission's Suzette Bistro specializes in cuisine inspired by the North of France, using local and seasonal ingredients.

The ParcCafand Brasserie offers a taste of France in the heart of lowerMount Royal.

Jen Li says she's been toParc many times for dinner, but never for brunch until now. Their patio is ideal for sunny summer days.

Parc's menu offers multiple courses including aperitifs,hors d'oeuvres,soups and salads along withmore substantial brunch fare.

Some of the standard brunch mains includemultiple variations ofeggs benedict, french toast (of course!), quicheand croque madame.

Formore adventurouseaters, there'sseared steelhead trout,parmentier (France's take on shepherds' pie) andThe ParcBurger, to which you can adddouble smoked bacon,wild mushrooms,comte cheese andevenfoie gras.

Parc does take reservations over the phone or online.For brunch groups of eight people or more, Parc adds a gratuity of 18 per centand offers only one bill.
