A Calgary courtroom was packed again today as Jonathan Denis and his estranged wife continue their legal proceedings. The details are protected by a publication ban.

After all of the evidence is presented, the Queen's Bench judge will rule on an application by a lawyer for Postmedia to lift the ban.

On Friday, Breanna Palmer appeared before a family court judge for a private hearing.

Upon learning of Denis' dealings with the courtson Saturday, Jim Prentice asked him to step down as Alberta's justice minister.

Court hearings heldon Friday,TuesdayandWednesdaywere in-camera but Palmer successfully applied for future matters to be in open court.

Sources tell CBC News that Calgary police were called to the couple's home earlier this month. No charges were laid.

Denis remains the PC candidate inCalgary-Acadia.
