Josh Burgess denied bail, ordered to stand trial for murder of his wife, Shannon Madill
Calgary woman reported missing in December 2014, her remains found seven months later at couple's home
Josh Burgess was denied bail Wednesday and ordered to stand trial in the death ofhis wife, Shannon Madill, whose remains were found months after she went missingat the home the coupled shared.
Burgess, 30, was arrested in July 2015 and charged with second-degree murder.

Madill, 25,was reported missingon Dec. 1,2014,after she failed to show up for a family event the day before.
Days later, the family of the Calgary actress issued a plea for her to contact them or for the public'shelp in locating her.
"We all love you and we miss you somuch," her sister, Erin Madill,said at the time.
Seven months later, police discovered her remains atthe home in the 1900 block ofSpillerRoad S.E. that she shared with Burgess.
Burgess was ordered to remain in custody until his next court date.
A date for the trial has not yet been set.
