Man charged after pellet gun fired at supervised consumption site in Lethbridge

Aman has been charged after a pellet gun was fired at a supervised consumption site in Lethbridge, Alta.
Police said Monday that at around 6:18 p.m. on Sunday,they responded toARCHES (AIDSOutreach Community HarmReductionEducation and Support Society) in the 1000 block of 1st Avenue S. for a report that a man had pulled out a handgun and fired it outside the west doors of the building. No one was hurt bythe shooting.
Witnesses provided a description, and police said when they arrived they found a man fitting that description trying to hide in a group of people.
Joshua Emmanual Hairy Bull, 22, was arrested and searched.
Police found a loaded pellet gun that resembled a handgun and a small quantity of meth.
He's charged with:
- Carrying a concealed weapon.
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm.
- Careless use of a firearm.
- Pointing a firearm.
- Possession of an offensive weapon dangerous to the public.
- Possession of a controlled substance.
- Breach of an undertaking.
He's currently in custody awaiting an interim release hearing.
