A violent serial rapist who is accused of watching a 12-year-old girl through her bedroom window three times in the past month has been arrested.

A violent serial rapist who is accused of watching a 12-year-old girl through her bedroom window three times in the past month has been arrested.

Keegan Spearchief, 34, was wanted on voyeurism warrants connected to those incidents. He was arrested on the weekend by Lethbridge police.

Spearchief has a long history of violent, sexual acts against women and girls and has been monitored in the past by the Calgary Police Service's high-risk offender program.

In 2003, then-17-year-old Spearchief was sentenced as an adult for rape.

He's been in and out of prison ever since for similar crimes.

The most recent incident, involving a Calgary child, took place on Thursdayin the 4600 block of Hubalta Road S.E.

Police identifiedSpearchief as a suspect and searched for him before issuing warrants for his arrest.

He also has a long history of breaching court orders.
