Police arrest 2nd suspect in Kori Wesley's homicide

A second arrest has been made in the homicide of Kori Wesley, whose body was found near the Chiniki Rodeo Grounds on Aug. 7, Cochrane RCMP said in a release Friday.

A second arrest has been made in the homicide of Kori Wesley, whose body was found near the Chiniki Rodeo Grounds on Aug. 7, Cochrane RCMP said in a release Friday.

Police picked up a 17-year-old suspect in Red Deer, who was wanted on a warrant, with the help of police dogs Thursday.

The youthwho can'tbe named under the Youth Criminal Justice Actis currently in custody until a judicial interim release hearing can be held.

Previously, a 20-year-old Stoney Nakoda First Nation man was arrested Sunday and has been charged with second-degree murder in the incident. He is scheduled to appear in Cochrane court on Tuesday.

Stoney Nakoda First Nation is about 50 kilometres west of Calgary.
