Lawn mower stolen on Canada Day disappoints RCMP

RCMP are looking for a red lawn mower stolen on Canada Day from a yard in Airdrie, Alta.

Officer calls the theft 'completely unpatriotic behaviour on our national holiday.'

RCMP are looking for a red lawn mower stolen on Canada Day from a backyard in Airdrie, Alta.

Acouplewas watching the city'sparade, not farfrom their home, when they noticed a man walking down the street with a familiar-lookinglawn mower.

"He noted to his wife, 'Oh it looks just like the lawn mower that I have," saidCst. Jason Curtis.

She reminded him that there are lots of red lawn mowers, but when he got home, he discoveredhis two-year-old lawn mower was gone, said Curtis.

RCMPissued a press release about the stolen lawn mower because it happened on July 1.

"Completely unpatriotic behaviour on our national holiday.It's disappointing," saidCst. Jason Curtis.
