With his murder trial less than two weeks away, Nathan Paul Gervais, 21, has disappeared and police are looking to the public to help find him.

With his murder trial less than two weeks away, Nathan Paul Gervais, 21, has disappeared and police are asking the public to help find him.

Gervais is one of five people accused in the swarming death of Lukas Strasser-Hird in November2013. He faces the most serious charge first-degree murder while the others are each charged with second-degree murder.

He was released on bail pending trial on May 2 but was on 24 hour house arrest. When police checked on Gervais at his home on Saturday, he wasn't there and officers have not been able to track him down.

Strasser-Hird diedafter he was swarmed and stabbed in an alley at Second Street and 10th Avenue S.W.

It's believed the victim was involved in two altercations before his death. After the first incident, he and friends wereseparated from the situation but ran into another group of people shortly after.

Canada-wide warrants were issued for Gerviais' arrest and anyone who had contact with him since Saturday is asked to call police.

This is not the first time one of the people accused of killing Strasser-Hird has breached their bail conditions.

Franz Cabrera's bail was revoked in November after he was charged with drug-related offences.
