A battle over jurisdictional authority continued to heat up Wednesday, as federal Environment Minister StevenGuilbeaultinsisted an element of Alberta's pushback to Ottawa's oil and gas cap could land companies in hot water.

A drop in the international student population at the University of Calgary this fall is taking its toll on the school, after the federal government slashed the number of permits it's issuing.
