Police seek help in locating missing Calgary man last seen by family in December 2019

Police are asking the public for information as they search for a man who has not been seen in Calgary for a year and a half, which his family says is unusual.

Police are asking for help from the public as they search for a Calgary man who has not been seen for a year and a half.

Isaiah Lee Blackrider, 23, was reported missing to police by his family last week. They had not seen or heard from him since December 2019.

Calgary Police Service investigators later confirmed a sighting of Blackrider near the Alpha House at 203 15th Ave. S.E. in April 2020.

Blackrider's family believe it would be unusual for him to leave the Calgary area.

He is described as approximately five-feet-six-inches tall and136 pounds with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen him or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call police or contact Crime Stoppers.
