Calgary police say murder charges pending after 'significant organized crime operation'
Little is known at this time, but more than 1 person is currently in custody
Calgary police saytheyhave people in custody in connection with a "significant organized crime operation."
Several people were taken into custodyTuesday morning inwhat Calgary police are calling Operation Hydra.
Police saymultiple murder charges are pending.
CBC News has learned the caseisconnected tothe death of Jason Antonio, who was killed in 2014 and was an accused in Calgary's largest meth bust.
Two of the men currently being questioned have lengthy criminal records.
The operation was conducted by Calgary police,federal Crownandorganized crime prosecutorsand U.S. authorities.
More details are expected to be released on Wednesday.
