New camp helps youth struggling with sexual orientation

A new camp in southern Alberta is bringing together youth struggling with sexual orientation and gender identity issues.

Camp Fyrefly is an outreach program run by the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services and has locations in Edmonton and Saskatoon.

The newest location is in Cochrane and aims to help Calgary-area youth embrace diversity and become leaders in their communities.

But as CBC Calgary's Tara Weber explores, the camp also wants to help youth feel comfortable in their own skins.
