Swarming attack in Okotoks leaves woman injured, RCMP seeking teen suspects

A young woman was attacked by a group of nearly a dozen teenagers over the weekend, say Okotoks RCMP who are asking the public for help in finding the attackers.

Group described as 10 males and 1 female in their early teens

A young woman was attacked by a group of nearly a dozen teenagers over the weekend, sayOkotoks RCMP who are asking the public for help in finding the attackers.

The swarming happened Saturday around 10:45 p.m. as the 19-year-old woman was on her way home, crossing the town's library foot bridge toward the stairway leading to Woodhaven Drive.

Police said the woman suffered minor injuries in the assault.

The group is described as consisting of about 10 males and one female in their early teens.

The lone female is described as being short with blonde hair in loose curls,wide shoulders and a skinny waist.

Police say they don't know why the group attacked the woman.
