Carjackers posed as buyers then pulled knife on vehicle owner during test drive, Alberta RCMP say

Innisfail RCMP say they're looking for two suspects who stole a vehicle that was up for private sale by posing as prospective buyers and then pulling a knife on the owner during a test drive.

The theft, described by police as a carjacking, happened on Monday in the community of Penhold.

One suspect was driving the vehicle and the other was sitting in the front passenger seat when the driver pulled out the knife and told the owner, who was sitting the back seat, to get out.

The pair then fled in the vehicle.

RCMP are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

The man who pulled the knife is described as being in his late 30s, with a brown pony tail that was tucked into a hat. He was wearing a black hat with an "RDS" sticker, a blackleather jacket, blue jeans andwhite Adidas shoes. He also had a tattoo located high up on his neck.

The other suspect is described as being in his late 20s, with light brown hair. He was wearing a ball cap, Oakley sunglasses, a black Volcom hoodie and jeans.

Penholdis about 130 kilometres north of Calgary.
