Pineridge death results in 1st-degree murder charge against boyfriend

The boyfriend of a woman found dead in her northeast Calgary home Tuesday has been charged with first-degree murder.

The boyfriend of a woman found dead in her northeast Calgary home Tuesday has been charged with first-degree murder.

Police were called to a home in the 400 block of Pinehill Road N.E. on Tuesday, where they found the victim.

After an autopsy on Wednesday, she has been identified as 24-year-old Chelsea Serpentini-Harty.

She and the 26-year-old man were living together at the home, police say.

The accused appeared in court on Thursday morning.
