Prasad Panda chosen as Wildrose candidate in Calgary-Foothills byelection

The WildroseParty has chosen its candidate in the upcoming provincial by-election in Calgary-Foothills.

At a nominating vote last night, the party chose Prasad Panda to represent them on Sept3.

The Progressive Conservative candidate is local businessman Blair Houston.Bob Hawksworth is representing the NDP, Mark Taylor for the Alberta Party, Ali Bin Sahid for the Liberals and Janet Keeping for the Green Party of Alberta.

The riding was held by former premier Jim Prentice, who resigned his seat following the NDP victory in the spring election.
