AirdrieRCMP responded to Highway 2 near Cairstairs, Alta., on Wednesday night after receiving a complaint.
RCMP say another motorist had passed a blue Chrysler minivan travelling southbound and noticed the man was watching a movie and called police.
The responding officer also saw the manwatchingthe film once the van waslocated, according to RCMP.
