Coral Springs shooting: Vehicles damaged but no injuries reported

Calgary police are investigating another shooting in the city's northeast, but it appears only a vehicle was damaged in this latest incident.

Calgary police are investigating a second shooting on Sunday in which it appears only a vehicle was struck by bullets. It comes hours after a fatal shooting in which one man was killed. (CBC)

Calgary police are investigating another shootingin the city's northeast,but it appears only a vehicle was damaged in this latest incident.

Officers got a call about shots being fired around10 p.m. Sunday nightin the 100 block of Coral Springs Close N.E.

When investigators arrived in the area, they found a vehicle that had been shot at multiple times, but it appears no one was inside.

Police said theyhave searchedthe neighbourhood and checked withhospitals but haven't found anyone with gunshot wounds.

The guns and gangs unit is investigating.

The incident comes hours after a fatal Monterey Parkshootingearlier on Sundayin the100 block of Del Ray Road N.E.

Police don't believe that attack was random, and say more information is expected afteran autopsy is completed.
