Red Deer shooting leaves man with shoulder injuries

RCMP in Red Deer are investigating after a 29-year-old man on a walk was shot in the shoulder.

RCMP in Red Deer are investigating after a 29-year-old manwas shot in the shoulder.

The man was shot while walking in the area of41st Avenue and 51A Streetat 2:20 p.m Thursday.

"Police responded immediately and searched the area but have not located any suspects," RCMP said in a newsrelease.

"At this time, RCMP do not believe there is any danger to the public."

The man was treated at the scene by paramedicsbefore he was taken to hospital.Police are looking for anewer-model white FordF150truck.
