The provincial Liberals are inviting Albertans to send them questions on the upcoming budget, which they will take into the legislature.

The party has set up awebsite(www.budget2009.ca) and toll-free number (1-888-886-2834) for Albertans to submit their questions or concerns on the 2009 provincial budget, scheduled to be tabled on Tuesday.

"We are going to do our part to make this budget more open and transparent to Albertans, more responsive to their needs," said party leader David Swann in Calgary.

"Albertans have a say in the direction of this province during these uncertain times. That includes the budget."

The party pledged to bring the best submitted questions into the legislature to "ensure that the voices of the people are heard by their elected government."
