Bodies of 2 missing boaters recovered at Spray Lakes

Two more bodies have beenrecovered from a lake in KananaskisCountry after a boat capsized on Sunday.

Four people were in the boat near the Spray Lakes Campground when they ended up in the water. One was able to swim to safety, and another was confirmed dead at the scene. Two were missing.

On Tuesday, RCMP saidthey had found the body of a man in Spray Lakes on Monday afternoon and were continuing to search forthe other missing boater.

On Wednesday, RCMPconfirmeda search team had recovered the body of the second missing boater on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased male was found around 4 p.m.

It's unclear what caused the boat to capsize.

Kananaskis Emergency Services, Alberta Conservation officers and Canmore RCMPparticipated inthesearch efforts.

Police have not released the identities of the boaters.
