Stabbing in northeast Calgary not believed to be random, sends man to hospital

One man is in hospital following a stabbing in Bridgeland in northeast Calgary.

One man is in hospitalfollowing a stabbing in Bridgeland in northeast Calgary.

A call to 911 came in around 7:25 p.m. that a man had been stabbed in the 1300 block of Colgrove Avenue N.E.

He was conscious when transported to hospital and was initially thought to be in potentially life-threatening condition. He has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Police are investigating but don't believe it's a random incident.
