Man who went missing at Harvie Passage found dead

Calgary police say they've found the body of Tyrese Lens, a man in his 20s who went missing from Harvie Passage on June 27.

Calgary police say they've found the body of Tyrese Lens, a man in his 20s who went missing from Harvie Passage on June 27.

Details about where he was found or how he died were not released, except to say the circumstances were not considered suspicious.

Lens was last seen on a beach at Harvie Passage in Pearce Estate Park in the southeast neighbourhood of Inglewood at around 5 p.m. on June 27.

He was with friends and got up to walk to another area and talk to some other friends.

He never returned and left his personal belongings behind.

His body was found on July 7.
