City council views proposal for downtown arts campus

Aproposalthat features four state-of-the-art theatres, a Universitiy of Alberta arts campus, an office tower, retail and commercial space anda European-styled open-air glass atrium was presented to Edmonton city council Monday.

By 2017,the new arts campus and public plazacould be located just north of City Hall behind the new Royal Alberta Museum.
