The man who left Edmonton apartment manager Dougald Millerin a permanent vegetative state 13 years ago has been denied parole.

Leo Teskey was requesting full or day parole. The parole board turned him down. (CBC)
Leo Teskey, 44, has been in prison since his vicious assault on Miller in November 2000.

He was designated a dangerous offender in 2010.

Teskey was seeking full or day parole but his request was denied at a hearing on Friday.

The board found that Teskey presents too high a risk to society to be released.

He has been deemed a psychopath who will likelyreoffendviolently.
