Former Alberta Progressive Conservative leadership candidate Sandra Jansen is not satisfied with the investigation into her complaint of harassment at a recent party policy-conference.

"Not even a slap on the wrist for the people who behaved that way," she said. "A lot of those people who were harassing actually went on their Facebook pages, they weren't anonymous.

"Those people will go off and act as delegates at the leadership in March. So what exactly has happened as a result of this investigation? I'm not really sure anything has."

Jansen and leadership candidate Jason Kenney both complained they were subjected to rude behaviour at the November Alberta PC policy conference in Red Deer.

An independent investigator concluded that while there were incidences of harassment and intimidation, it could not be established that it was directed by a specific group.

Kenney's campaign said it wassatisfied with the conclusion, Jansen is left frustrated.

The level of abuse directed at herwas far greater and of an entirely different nature than what Kenney faced, she said.

"To compare our two experiences as Jason Kenney has done is comparing apples to oranges. They were very different."

While Kenney reportedhearing expletives yelled in the hallways, the behaviourdirected at Jansen left her fearing for her safety, she said.

"From the moment I started thinking about entering the race my Facebook page ... was filled with filth. I don't believe that any kind of that kind of filth was directed at Jason Kenney."

While the report failed to find that any campaign directed supporters to target other candidates, Jansen said the party's code of conduct for the leadership race states each candidate is responsible for the behaviour of supporters.

Kenney's campaign did not seem concerned about the behavior of some of their supporters, she said.
