Man discovered dead near 107th Avenue

Edmonton police are investigating the suspicious death of a man in his late 30s whose bodywas found outside some apartment buildings inthe central partof the cityearly Sunday morning.

Police were called to an apartment building in the area of 115th Street and 107th Avenue just before 6 a.m.

When they arrived, officers foundthe body ofa man lying on the ground between two apartment buildings.

Investigators said what they saw at the crime scene led them to treat the death as suspicious.

The identity of the victim and the cause of death won't be released until an autopsy is completed later this week.
