The district saysbetween 175 and 300 students planning to attend the school next year will have to goelsewhere.
Most of the options on the table sendnext year's kindergarten studentsto other schools.

Chrisey Denney, who lives near the school, has a child in kindergarten and a second that will follow.

"I'm really close so it was part of the reason for buying our home or living in the neighbourhood," she said. "We moved in actually before the school was built so to have to take that into consideration is really a downer."

Stephanie Rolstonalsohas a child at MichaelStrembitsky with a secondheaded there.

"It kind of makes me sad," she said. "I bought in the area typically just to have the school and the lake and to have one be able to go here and then another that has to take a bus that's younger;I'm just not OK with that."

Denney worriesher kids could end up in different schools.

Apublic meeting is being held at the schoolon Nov. 24.
