A house in Mill Woods was hit by two separate Molotov cocktail attacks on Sunday, Edmonton police said.

A house in Mill Woods was hit by two separate Molotov cocktail attacks on Sunday, Edmonton police said.

Police were first called to the house at 35th Street and 38A Avenue at 6 a.m. Sunday.

A Molotov cocktail had been thrown through the front window and set the curtains on fire, police said.

People who lived at the house were able to put out the fire immediatelyand no one was hurt.

In the subsequent investigation, police found several more firebombs had been thrown at the house.

Police were called back to the same house at 8 p.m., after more Molotov cocktails were thrown, this time causing minor damage to the garage.

No one was hurt.

Police don't yet know if these incidents are connected to a series of Molotov cocktail attacks in Mill Woods last summer.

Those attacks likely resulted from a rivalry between groups of teens who attended different south Edmonton high schools, police said at the time.
