Two Edmontonians and one Australian have been fined $287 each after base jumping stunt.

Three people are facing charges after base jumping from the Pearl Condo Tower on the Aug. 4 long weekend.

A security video shows three people entering the building, which is currently under construction, at Jasper Avenue and 120th Street.

It took them only 19 minutes to climb 36 stories, jump and make their escape into a waiting vehicle.

A 26-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man from Edmonton, along with a 27-year-old man from Australia, have been charged with trespassing and fined $287 eachapproximately the equivalent of a jaywalking ticket.
