Young leukemia patient helps build new playground

CBC first reported last yearthat six-year-old Halle Popowich received a life-saving bone marrow transplant to battle a rare form of leukemia.

When given the opportunity to make a request of Childrens Wish Foundation, Halle wished for a new playground to be built at her school so her friends could all play together once again.

And, as CBCs Marion Warnica reports, with the help of several local construction companies, that wish is now becoming a reality.
