Black Lives Matter protest takes over Gore Park on Saturday

The rally at 1 p.m. saw more than 100 people join together calling for an end to anti-black racism and partially defunding the local police budget.

Chants, hollers, clenched fists and signs took over the space at Gore Park on Saturday as Black Lives Matter demonstrators congregated to protest.

The rally at 1 p.m. saw more than 100 people assemble tocall for an end to anti-black racism and partially defunding the local police budget.

The group eventually joined another large groupof demonstrators at city hall.
