The Burlington Canal Lift Bridge on Eastport Drive reopenedMonday after being closed for over two months.

The road was closed on Jan. 5 for maintenance work whilepedestrian and cyclist pathways were closed since Dec. 28.

More work is set to start this winter and is slated to be completedbetween next summer and winter 2024.

The Around The Bay Road Race, which crosses the bridge about half way through the 30 kilometrerace, is set to take place on March 26.
