Worker in critical condition after falling 15m from condo project in Stoney Creek

The man was working on the exterior of the building at 101 Shoreview Place around 8:45 a.m. when he fell.

A worker at acondominium development in Stoney Creek suffered life-threatening injuries after fallingmore than 15 metres (49 feet) Tuesday, according to police.

The man was working on the exterior of the building at 101 Shoreview Place around 8:45 a.m., said Hamilton Police Service spokesperson,Jacqueline Penman.

Ontario's Ministry of Labour has been notified and has taken over the investigation, confirmed spokesperson Janet Deline.

"It was reported that a worker fell from a fifthfloorbalcony and was transported to hospital," she wrote in an email to CBC News.
