In February 2017, Hamilton police reported that$100,000 worth of blueberries and other fruits had been stolen from a commercial refrigeration truckin Stoney Creek.

The crime was dubbed #BlueberryBandit.

According to police, the thief broke into the truck at 555 Seaman St. and drove the truck and trailer to the GTA.

Police said the berries were stolen sometime between 3 and 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 5, 2017.

The case remains unsolved.
