Man rescued by rope from Webster Falls Saturday
Hamilton Fire makes fourth rope rescue this month
Hamilton fire rescued an injured male hiker by rope Saturdaythe fourth rope rescue this month.
Hamilton fire responded to the incident at Webster Falls Saturday around 6:42 p.m.
Crews made a rope rescue on a manwho injured his leg while hiking.
Hamilton fire spokesman, ClaudioMostaccitold CBC the hiker was approximately 100 ft. down at Webster Falls.
According to Mostacci, the male was taken to hospital with a leg injury.
This marks the fourth rope rescue in June and sixth this year.
On June 10 a man in his twentiesfell to his death at Albion Falls. Two other peoplein the group had to be rescued by rope that day.
