Hamilton

What is Hamilton to you? What does it need? Here's what some residents had to say

Over the course of two days at Supercrawl, hundreds of people took the opportunity to answer one of two questions: "Hamilton is ...?" and "Hamilton needs ...?" Here's a look at what they said.

We asked hundreds of Hamiltonians two simple questions about their city

How would you finish the sentence "Hamilton is ...?"

What about the sentence "Hamilton needs ...?"

We recently gave Hamiltonians a chance to offer their opinions on the city's evolving identity by answering one of those two questions.

Over the course of two days at Supercrawl, hundreds of people took the opportunity to fill in the blanks on those two question prompts, writing in the answers on our white board and posing for a portrait.

It was a chance for our readers to have a say in our series exploring the city's identity crisis, and what this junction looks like for workers, residents, commuters, newcomers and lifers who call Hamilton home.

We'll learn about changing neighbourhoods, study juxtapositions of old and newand how work and job security have changed.

Here's a sampling a some of the answers we got. You can see the full gallery on our facebook page.
