4 Hamilton men charged with child porn offences

Police have arrested four Hamilton men this week and charged them withpossessing and accessing child pornography.

The men ranged in age from 21 to 66 years old. They didn't know each other, police say.

The charges come after the OPP used a search warrant to seize several servers from a business in October 2012. Using that information, Hamilton Police Service's Internet Child Exploitation Unit and the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit started several local investigations.

Police arrested the men on April 14 and 15. They also seized several computers and devices.

The following are charged:

• A 21-year-old Ancaster man.
• A 66-year-old Hamilton man.
• A 34-year-old Hamilton man.
• A 62-year-old Hamilton man.
