Canada's next prime minister will start his new job by returning to the home where he lived as a child.

In what began as a tight three-way race, in the end there was no doubt about which party leader Canadians wanted to name leader.

Justin Trudeaucontinues his work in the family business. TheLiberal leader follows in the footsteps of his father, Pierre ElliottTrudeau,who served as prime minister for almost 16 yearsbefore retiring in 1984.
