Dundas woman arrested in hit and run

Police arrested a Dundas woman accused of hit and run on Tuesday night.

The driver was arrested about 10 p.m. at King Street East and York Road in Dundas.

On May 14, police were called to Parkdale Avenue North and Britannia Avenue after a 67-year-old Hamilton woman was hit by a blue vehicle.

The vehicle sped away and left the woman lying on the ground, police said.

The woman was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A 47-year-old Dundas woman has been charged with failing to report an accident.
