Hamilton cop charged with threatening bodily harm

A Hamilton police officer has been arrested and charged for allegedly sending a threatening email while off duty.
Police received a complaint on Tuesday regarding the alleged threat, leading to an arrest on Thursday.
When Hamilton Police arrested Paul Manning, 41, they also found a long arm firearm not stored safely, resulting in an additional charge.
Manning, a nine-year veteran of the force, has been suspended with pay and was held incustody fora court appearance Thursday afternoon.
