Winter weather is making its return in the city. It feels like -9 C for your walk to work or school today. Bring the hat and gloves back out!

No issues to report on GO Transit from Hamilton so far this morning.

At 8:30 a.m.:

On the QEW Toronto-bound, there is a three-car collision blocking the three left lanes at Winston Churchill Blvd. A fire truck, ambulance and tow truck are making their way to the scene. No injuries.

Still no serious hold-ups in town. Traffic moving well.

At 8 a.m.:

Traffic is starting to pick up on the QEW Toronto-bound, between Wakers Line and Bronte Road in particular.

In town, some traffic has hit the Jolley Cut, but other access routes are moving well.

At 7:30 a.m.:

Highways are looking smooth at this hour.

In town, all the access routes into the lower city are moving well. A bit of traffic on Aberdeen heading onto the 403.

Wind chill is back! It feels like -9 C out this morning, or -2 C without the wind chill.

A high of -4 C today and cloudy. A 60 per cent chance of flurries throughout the day and continuing into this evening. A low of -8 C overnight.

We'll have the same chance of flurries on Thursday, but the temperature will be a bit warmer. A high of -3 C.

Two months after permanently shutting down its iron and steel making in Hamilton, U.S. Steel remains a no-show at the city's steel committee.

The city first expressed its desire for a meeting with the company immediately after the shutdown was announced in late October. The committee met Tuesday afternoon. Councillors also began to express some frustration with the lack of response to the shutdown from the city's federal politicians.
