Tim Bosma trial: Distributor for incinerator containing remains testifies

The trial of the two men accused of murdering Hamilton resident Tim Bosmahasenteredits fourth week today.

Afternoon testimony is coming from the Canadian distributor of the livestock incinerator in whichBosma'sremains were found. The testimony is covering the unit's operation andhistory.

Jurors also heardMonday fromDarryl Denny,a chief building official in the rural township of North Dumphries, near Waterloo, Ont., in 2013. Dellen Millard's farm was located inNorth Dumfries.

Millard, 30, and MarkSmich, 28, are each charged with first-degree murder.

On Thursday,forensic pathologist Dr. Tracy Rogers testified the remains of a whole body were not found in the incinerator police discovered on the Millard farm.

Rogers testified in OntarioSuperior Courtthat the lack of remains indicated to her The Eliminatorhad been cleaned out.

"There are a lot of remains that are not there," she told the jury, saying she was asked for help in May 2013 by Hamilton police officers who were investigating the disappearance of 32-year-oldBosma.

"There should have been a complete body there basically, but there wasn't So obviously, it had been cleaned out at some point."
